Fans were desperately waiting for any news about Erased season 2 after the first season was a hit which left them craving for more. But unfortunately, no news has been announced yet regarding Erased season 2 so you will have to wait for a little more!
Although the series ended 5 years ago on a satisfactory note so it is highly unlikely that there will be another season but continuous love and support from fans may change the minds of the creators. Because everything is fair in love, war, and anime!
However, the following are some other versions of this series that will keep you entertained while you’re waiting for Erased season 2.
Different Adaptations of Erased season 2
It was decided to make a live-action film on this series which debuted in the theatres of Japan on 19th March 2016.
Seeing the gaining popularity of this series Netflix picked it up and soon after announced that they will be reviewing a different take on this series and will present it in the form of a 12 episode long live-action web drama.
This version was released on 15th December 2017 and attracted many people including the individuals who don’t even watch anime. It was highly praised by all of them as it fully covered the storyline from the manga as compared to the film and perfectly depicted the emotions of the characters.
The cast of this series consists of Tatsuya Fujiwara as Satoru Fujinuma, Kasumi Arimura as Airi Katagiri, Kento Hayashi as Jun Shiratori, Seiji Fukushi as Kenya Kobayashi, and many more who made this series successful with their acting skills and most likely to be seen in Erased season 2 if that ever happens.
For all the readers, there is also a spin-off novel adaption to this series available named Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: Re, written by Hajime Ninomae. This novel pays more attention to the story of Kayo Hinazuki who was one of the child victims in the original manga.

If you’re not ready to commit to Naruto or Dragon Ball and want to start with some short ones, then ‘Erased’ might be the perfect one to start from.
