Ard wanted to meet Varvatos from the past. So when Verda’s army went up against General Bulgan, that was his opportunity. The Verda army got its rear side support from Ard. In the meanwhile, Bulgan weakened this huge army and sabotage the resources behind ambushed from behind. But, Ard, without a sweat took him down. And that earned him the ticket to meet Varvatos in person.
But, when Ard Mets Varvatos in person, he realizes that in the past, Varvatos is not the Demon Lord. Instead, another Demon Lord has emerged about three years ago! That’s when it hits Ard and he realizes that he wasn’t supposed to meet himself. He was supposed to meet this new Demon Lord and defeat him.
