INTRODUCTION
Kotoyama is the creator of the Japanese manga series Call of the Night (Japanese:, Hepburn: Yofukashi no Uta). Since August 2019, it has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shnen Sunday. Viz Media holds the North American English distribution rights for the manga. The anime television series that Liden Films adapted made its premiere in July 2022 on Fuji TV’s Noitamina channel.
PLOT
Ko Yamori stops attending school and starts wandering the streets at night since he can’t get any rest or truly enjoy his life. He encounters a vampire named Nazuna Nanakusa, who shows Ko the advantages of becoming a night walker. Ko is motivated by this to want to turn into a vampire as well, but he first needs to fall in love with her.

a junior high school student in his second year who is 14 years old and gradually grows bored with his existence. He sneaks out at night to wander the streets to reenergize himself. Though he has a poor track record with women, he is attempting to fall in love with Nazuna in order to turn into a vampire. His unique talent is to appear to be asleep.

“Evening Walker,” etc. While Ko is out on the town, she bumps into him and offers to take him to an abandoned building so he can get away from his problems. While he is sleeping, she drains his blood. When it comes to love, she is quite shy and often embarrassed. She also enjoys drinking beer.
