What will the storyline of Solo Leveling be about?
The storyline of Solo Leveling revolves around a character who starts from the very bottom and climbs his way to the top. As per the plot of the manga, Sung Jinwoo is a weak player who lives in a world where humans with magical abilities, known as hunters, fight monsters and conquer dungeons to protect mankind as they know it. If the hunting party clears out the gate’s dungeon, their rewards can be used as money in the real world. Despite such a bad reputation of being the weakest hunter, he still participates in dungeon raids because he had to pay for his mother’s hospital bills. One day, after narrowly surviving the overwhelmingly powerful double dungeon that nearly wipes out his entire party, Jinwoo sacrifices himself to allow the rest of his party to escape. But then a mysterious program called the System chooses him as its sole player and in turn, gives him the extremely rare ability to level up in strength, possibly beyond any known limits. Jinwoo then sets out on a journey as he fights against all types of enemies, both humans as well as monsters, to discover the secrets of the dungeons and also the true source of his powers.
