The Case Study of Vanitas, also known as Vanitas no Carte is an anime adaptation from the manga with the same name. It’s a collaboration between Jun Mochizuki and BONES Studio which premiered in July 2021. The show was directed by Tomoyuki Itamura who wanted to showcase humanity’s duality; both its light side and dark side are shown throughout the storyline for viewers to choose what they want their own path to be like.

The popular television series “The Frankenstein Chronicles” is a mixture of dark fantasy, steampunk, and supernatural genres. Along with the TV show’s rising popularity in recent years due to its unique mix of different styles, Funimation announced that it would be dubbed into English on August 5th, 2021. The dub premiered at 12 is UTC on August 6th, 2021.

The story follows a girl who moves to Tokyo, Japan, and learns that she is the reincarnation of an ancient warrior queen. It’s got dark fantasy elements with science fiction themes as well. The show has been gaining popularity lately but on August 5th Funimation announced it would be dubbed in English! When I saw this news about the series being dubbed, my excitement grew even more because now we can finally watch it without dealing with all those pesky subtitles!

All About the Story

Vanitas is a rare vampire who was born on the blue full moon where he faces ostracization from other vampires. In his story, Noé Archivist hunts for the Book of Vanitas which belonged to him in 19th Century France; it follows how they both are fighting against extinction and ultimately find love with each other.

Hired by a mysterious woman, he investigates the disappearance of one of her family members. He soon discovered that vampires may be behind it and joins forces with Vanitas to cure them all. Along their journey, they find more than just curses as many secrets are revealed along the way for him to save his loved ones from certain death.

Who are the Main Characters

Noé Archivist is a young vampire who belongs to the Fangs That Lay Bare Blood clan. He has the power to read people’s memories after drinking their blood, and he was sent by his teacher in France for Vanitas’s Book of Memories called “The Book of Vanitas”. Alongside him came Murr -his cat friend- as well as another member from his tribe named Ebbie Bonebreaker.

Anime enthusiasts have to wait for Saturdays to get their latest episode of a favorite series, as the new release is always scheduled every Saturday. Episode 7 will be released on August 14th and it’s called ‘Love.’ Fans can watch this exclusively with Funimation or ANIPLUS Asia’s website but you can also find episodes available on Hulu after one or two days later!
