Brief plot
The story takes place in a world where humans and seraphim live in harmony about a thousand years ago. And humans used to pray to seraphim and in return seraphim blessed them. The seraphim are having some kind of magical power. However, the storyline is almost parallel with the game.
The storyline of Tales of Zestiria the X-
Kingdom of Hyland situated in the northeast region of the Glenwood continent has been facing unusual weather which results in damaged crops and affected the health of people. When Alisha a Royal princess, sends clem to investigate about ominous mist in Guriel but didn’t get any reply so she decides she will go all by herself and with her attendants. She finds the town still shrouded by eerie mist.
There she met people of Guriel and after that, the people of the town and her attendants as well were getting swallowed by a tornado. After some time she is left alone. After wandering for sometimes she came across murals depicting a shepherd who will save the world. Later she is attacked by insects, she leaves the place as soon as she could and reaches The celestial capital there she meets a boy named Sorey who lives in Elysium ( home of seraphim) and a shepherd, Mikleo.
Sorey wants to take Alisha to Izuchi, but the other boy says that it isn’t a good idea. But later is convinced as Sorey couldn’t leave someone in need like that. When they reach Izuchi, Alisha asks for help from Seraphim but they refuse to do so as they believe humans will bring calamity to their land. She decides to leave then after she leaves Sorey notices a boy who is after her so he decides to go (accompanied by his friend Mikleo) and follows that mysterious man. When they reach the capital they are amazed after seeing the scenery and people at the festival, a girl named rose helped them in entering the city. The malevolence in the capital causes Mikleo to grow physically weak. While Sorey sees the mysterious man who was after Alisha.
To save the people at the festival from that mischievous person Sorey takes the sacred blade of the lady of the lake which will make him a shepherd. He then falls to the ground and becomes unconscious. Alisha gives him a shepherd outfit so that he could go into the town so he does wear it. Later he gains the ability to perceive malevolence.
There was a woman confined for several years named velvet who devoured monsters called daemons. She wanted revenge from people who leads the Abbey, an organization of exorcists and who possess the power to battle demons. Artorius Collbrande was called their savior. One day, Artorius’ former partner, Seres, tried to help velvet in escaping the prison.
And finally, velvet manages to escape prison with help of a daemon named Rokurou.
The only way to escape from the island prison is through the sea so they head to the harbor. There was already an exorcist named Oscar. Oscar believes in the natural law of the world but velvet cannot forgive a world that was made by the sacrifice of her younger brother. They fight but suddenly a dragon comes.
Lilah explains to Sorey about the actual mission of the shepherd when the dragon appears, however, the dragon doesn’t attack Sorey. Seeing that people were shocked and Barlow invites him to his mansion. On the way to the mansion, Sorey sees that an unpleasant kind of smell is rising among the people from Malevolence. He wants to stop it before it reaches lady lake. Mikleo is worried about Sorey who is now a shepherd. That’s how the rest of the story proceeds and if you liked it, give it a try then.

Till now there is no announcement on Tales of zestiria the x season 3 of the series yet. Studio Ufotable has neither renewed nor canceled the Tales of zestiria the x season 3 of the anime series. As of now, we have seen that the final episode of season 2 featured the final battle and concluded the story. So we cannot expect another season. The chances of the series getting another season are very low. And also it’s been like 3 years since the release of season 2 so we cannot expect any other season. But who knows what’s gonna happen.
