Fuuka anime television series is a blend of genre, romantic drama, and musical. It has a manga with the same name and is written by Kōji Seo. The anime television series is directed by Keizō Kusakawa and produced by Ikuno Iida, Jun Fukuda, Tetsuya Endo, Gouta Aijima, Toshio Iizuka, Masao Fukuda, Toshihiro Maeda, Yoko Tanaka, Hiroshi Endo. The series is licensed by Crunchyroll. The second 1 has 12 episodes in total which aired from January 2017 to March 2017. Fuuka is the sequel to a manga named Suzuka.

Fuuka Season 2- release
It’s been 4 years since the release of season 1 and I think chances are pretty low for the renewal but there is no official announcement yet so we have still a little bit of hope left. It has been produced by Diomedéa and Diomedéa is infamous for not producing sequels so maybe we aren’t going to see another season being released. However, there is no official announcement so we can still talk about the hopes of Fuuka season 2. Fuuka Season 1 was not able to satisfy the viewers and was rated poorly.
Plot-
The story revolves around a boy Yuu Haruna who promised his childhood friend Kuyoki of starting a band together. One day he was on his way to buy dinner and stops by to take a photo to upload. A high school girl named Fuuka assumes that he is trying to take pictures of her panties and she goes ahead and smashes his phone.
Fuuka forgets her CD which Yuu returns on the following day. Fuuka when gets to know him started falling for him and they become a couple. The relationship starts to become complicated when Kuyoki his childhood friend invites him to her concert via Twitter. Later Fuuko and Yuu starts their band together and named it the fallen moon. Their classmates were too a part of that band – Makoto, Kazuya, and Saara. Fuuka’s feeling towards Yuu begins to grow more and more, Kuyoki too gets closer to him.
Characters-
Yuu Haruna: he is the bassist of the band the fallen moon. After being transferred to a school in Tokyo he meets Fuuka, they later started a band together.
Fuuka Akitsuki: she is the daughter of the main character of the prequel manga of Fuuka. She accuses Yuu of taking pictures of her panties and then smashes his phone. She then falls for him and they are seen to be together in series and later they start a band together named the fallen moon. She is the vocalist of the band. Their band performs at the school festival.
Fuuka Aoi: Generally named as Aoi to differentiate her from Fuuka Akitsuki. She performs together with the fallen moon and after that, she requests to join the fallen moon.
Koyuki Higashi: she is your childhood friend to whom he promised to start a band together. Later she confesses her feelings towards him on national television. She is seen to form a band Rabbitz secretly.
Storyline- episode wise
Yuu is much like an introverted teenager who lives in Tokyo, Japan. He lives with his sisters. He is a daily user of Twitter. One day he encounters a mysterious girl Fuuka who misunderstands him and ended up smashing his phone and slapping him. Later he learns that the school that he is going to be transferred into, is the same school that is attended by Fuuka. He met her again on the school rooftop and another misunderstanding leads her to throw his phone again. But the next day she helps him find it to return the favor as Yuu gave her back the CD that she lost. They go out together for a movie. And after his day he gets a message on Twitter from his old friend.
In the next episode, we see Fuuka talking to her family, her mom and dad both being former athletes but is uninterested now when it comes to playing again. One day Yuu sees Fuuka in the School courtyard while she was crying and also sees his classmate Makoto there and assumes that Fuuka is attracted towards Makoto but later his assumptions about her turn out to be wrong and he finds out that she was crying while listening to one of Kuyoki’s song. We see about that message, it was being sent by his childhood friend Kuyoki and she invites him to her concert which he attends with Fuuka. And when Yuu finds out about her singing, he advises her to take up on singing while she suggests them to start a band together with Makoto.
Mrs. Tomomi suggests they earn some money by doing part-time jobs for their instruments. They head towards the seaside in search of a job. Yuu’s shy nature isn’t helping him in this job and he ended up creating a lot of tension between him and the beach house owner. Yuu thinks of going home but gets encouraged by Fuuka and gains some confidence. He somewhat improves his work after that. Yuu and Fuuka were out swimming and they get too far from shore and afterward, Yuu loses consciousness. They reach shore and Fuuka gives him CPR and he wakes up again, much to Fuuka’s relief.
