About Smoker:
The Smoker is similar to the furnace which is added by vanilla Minecraft. It can only smelt food items that include Raw Beef, Potatoes and Kelp. However, it does it twice the speed of the regular furnace. Although the point noted is that it still requires the same amount of fuel as the stove does. Hence, the piece of coal will cook eight items.
A smoker is one of the renewable tools in Minecraft. The average time to break a smoker is around 17.5 seconds.
Availability of Smoker:
The Smoker is only available in several versions of Minecraft. It includes Java edition (both PC and Mac), Pocket edition(PE), PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10 edition and on education edition.
However, the Smoker is not attainable on the version of Xbox 360, Wii U and PS3.
To make a smoker box in Minecraft:
To be able to make a smoker box, you need ingredients like four logs or woods and a furnace. The wood can be of any type varying from Oak logs to stripped spruce wood.
Following are the steps to make a smoker box. Just, for example, we will be using acacia wood.
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients as mentioned above. Now, after preparing the ingredients, you can proceed with the next steps.
Step 2: Open the crafting menu. Here, you will see the 3×3 crafting grid when you place the ingredients to make a smoker in Minecraft.
Step 3: Place the items which are required to make a smoker. You need to place an acacia wood in the centre of the first row, in the first box and one the third box of the second row. A furnace in the second box and lastly, place the acacia wood on the third row of the 3×3 crafting grid. Now, you are done with the arrangement.
Step 4: If you placed the recipe correctly, you would be able to see the Smoker on the right.
Step 5: Now, move it to your inventory.
Step 6: Great! You are done making a smoker.
Step 7: To give a command to the Smoker in the Java edition from PC and Mac, you can press @p Smoker one from your keyboard.
