Log Horizon is a Japanese novel series. Mamare Touno is the writer of the series. Kazuhiro Hara is the illustrator of the series. The series began serialization in 2010 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuke ni Naro. It was also published as a light novel in Japan since 2011. Yen press translated the series in English.
The series received four manga adaptions. One based on the main story and the other three revolving around characters in the series. It is one of the most loved anime of anime lovers. Since the date of the release of season 1 the series is receiving positive reviews. The fans and audiences of the series are expecting the series renewal season after season.

The first season aired between October 5, 2013, and March 22, 2014, followed by the second season premiered between October 4, 2014, and March 28, 2015. The third season was planned to be out in 2020, and being cancelled due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
