During the ‘Life Unstoppable’ virtual event, Samsung uniquely announced various devices and products. And one of the products is Samsung Galaxy A42 5G.
As of now, the company hasn’t shared much of the details about the device. However, it is expected to become the cheapest 5G mobile.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a quad-camera set up along with the square module at the back. It has a gradient textured back and a waterdrop style notch display.
This new smartphone seems like a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A41. It features a 6.6 inch super AMOLED display with an infinity U-design. In other words, it is a tiny notch which embeds the front camera. The back camera comes with an LED flash. However, as of now, there is no such information regarding the camera sensors.
It is also presumed that the battery of the new smartphone will be 5,000 mAh, hence providing the long standby time, especially on 5G.
Other features would include an in-display fingerprint scanner, possibly a high-resolution 5G camera, either 48 megapixel or 64 megapixels sensor, and Samsung’s new One UI 2.5.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Availability and Price
According to the images shown in the virtual event, it appears to have a blue to grey gradient pattern on it’s back.
Presently, not much information is shared, and there is no mention of availability and price as well. It is presumed that the smartphone will be lowered than the current budget 5G phone from Samsung Galaxy A51 5G that launched at $499.99 or Rs. 36, 600.

‘Life Unstoppable Virtual Event’ is a virtual space where Samsung displays its unique products.
Not only Samsung Galaxy A42 5G but Samsung announced other products as well. It includes Galaxy Fit 2, The Premiere, Odyssey G5, Tab A7, Galaxy Z Fold 2, RB7300T Classic Refrigerator, WW9800T Washing Machine, DV8000T Tumble Dryer, and Wireless charger trio.
This virtual event marks a new period of innovation and also continues to push the barriers of what technologies can do.
