The former lead vocalist of Skid Row band, Johnny Solinger died after a month battling liver failure. Known for his gritty vocals and knack for delivering powerful hooks, the news of Johnny’s death was confirmed by his wife Paula Marcenaro on June 26th to confirm he passed away last Saturday in New Jersey at 55 years old.
Paula Marcenaro, the well-known actress and widow of former vocalist Josh Solinger has confirmed that her husband passed away peacefully. She announced this news on his GoFundMe page to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers since she will be taking a break from social media following such an unfortunate event.

She said that she would take a break from social media to mourn and thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers in this tough time following her late husband’s passing
“The reality is that you will grieve forever,” Marcenaro took on her Instagram Story, to quote “You will not ‘get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it.”
Johnny Solinger had not been on the road for a while. Last month he revealed that his liver was failing him and that since then, it has only gotten worse because of lack of health insurance coverage. He’s currently in hospital with no hope getting better without help from somewhere else.
The former vocalist talked about how his health was degrading and he needed help paying for medical bills. He created a GoFundMe page with the help of one of his friends that’s been able to achieve its goal so far, but they’re still trying to raise more money!
