The CBSE is prepared to go ahead with the postponed class 12 exam, and they might even have to reschedule it. The council is adamant about the CBSE class 12 exam being conducted and will even find alternative ways to do so if need be.

The council feels that it would be more beneficial for students if the CBSE class 12 exam is conducted even though there will inevitably be some challenges, and they are willing to explore alternative examination patterns as a result.

The National Council of CBSE Schools urged Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to conduct the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board examination even if it is delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. As quoted by The Hindu, the National Council of CBSE School’s secretary-general Indira Rajan shares their opinion that the exam has to be conducted even if it’s delayed. She also said, “the decision would resolve both students’ and parents’ anxiety as many of them were eagerly awaiting entry into good quality professional institutions.”

CBSE-affiliated schools plan to hold another set of online practice tests for Class 12 students to clear their doubts. The schedule was announced after the beginning of summer vacations, but ahead of CBSE Board Exam 2021.

The Exam will Cancel?

Last week, another plea was filed to the Supreme Court requesting for cancellation of Class 12 board exams. This is in response to a previous petition submitted by Advocate Mamta Sharma who has asked for an objective assessment methodology within a specified timeframe before moving forward with these examinations which are currently being conducted by CBSE and CISCE.

“It is clarified that no such decision has been taken regarding CBSE Class 12 examinations as being speculated in certain sections of the media. Any decision taken in this matter will be officially communicated to the public,” said the CBSE.
