The Conjuring is one of the best horror franchises out there. With the signature couple warding off demons, the series has achieved success. The surprising thing is that its success is worldwide, unlike a lot of American horror movies. The Conjuring has fans from all over the world, and the spin-offs like Anabelle were just as successful too. As a result, the makers of the film decided to make a third part of the film. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this to happen as well, and recent updates suggest it is. Here are all the details we know about Conjuring 3.
Release Date: “The Conjuring 3”
The Conjuring 3 would be the eighth part of the franchise that consists of all Conjuring films and others as well. From what we know, The Conjuring 3 will come out on September 11, 2020, in the USA. However, this schedule is tentative and could quickly go off the tracks. Since the worldwide pandemic has interrupted a lot of films, the movie can face delays. Although the creators haven’t said anything, so we are hoping it comes out on time. If there are any delays, it might happen due to post-production at this stage. We’ll update you once we know more.
Cast: “The Conjuring 3”
So far, the cast for the film seems to be:
- Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will be returning to their roles of ‘Lorraine Warren’ and ‘Ed Warren’ respectively. It isn’t surprising since both the actors are synonymous with the franchise.
- Sterling Jerrins plays as ‘Judy Warren’ and Ruairi O’Connor as ‘Ruairi O’Connor’.
- Sarah Catherine Hook plays ‘Debbie Glatzel’, Julian Hilliard as ‘David Glatzel’, and Charlene Amoia as ‘Judy Glatzel’
Other cast members include Ronnie Gene Blevins, Shannon Kook, and Steve Coulter in supporting cast. It is still unclear who these characters might be.
Plot: “The Conjuring 3”
At present, it is unclear what the plot of the movie might be. The director of the film has hinted that the movie wouldn’t be a haunted house film. Sources report that the title will be The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made me Do it. It indicates that there might be some tie-in with the Christian ideas of hell and death. Another thing to keep in mind is that Michael Chaves is the one directing this film. It would be interesting to see where the new writers and director take this film. Seeing how most movies in the series are haunted house films, it will be exciting to know what happens now.
Storyline: “The Conjuring 3”
The last Conjuring film saw Ed and Lorraine travel to Enfield, London, to investigate a case. A woman who lived with her four children, raising them as a single mother, called them. She had been experiencing intense paranormal activity in her house, and her children were scared. The youngest daughter, an 11-year-old, seems to be under the influence of this spirit as well. It is a surprising and scary movie, and we highly recommend watching it. The trailer for Conjuring 3 isn’t here yet, so here’s the trailer for the last film.
