In just a few years, Minecraft became one of the world’s most popular games. Most of the time, the Minecraft is described as a ‘Sandbox’ game. In other words, it means a virtual land where the players can create their worlds and experiences by using building blocks, resources discovered on the site, and their creativity. 

Since it was first released in 2009, the game has grown in popularity, especially among primary aged children. Minecraft is available on multiple platforms like Windows, Android, iOS, Tablet, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Playstation.

Crossbow 

The ranged missile that uses arrows and fireworks as a bullet is known as Crossbow. 

The crossbows use iron in their crafting recipe. However, they cannot smelt into iron nuggets. Similar to bows, yet they take a more extended time and more powerful (shooting farther with the mostly higher accuracy). The firework rockets or arrows can be fired after fully charged. Afterward, the player speed returns to normal. They can be placed in another inventory slot or into an item frame. 

Making a Crossbow in Minecraft 

Making a crossbow in Minecraft is very easy. Usually, it requires only 1 minute. 

The ingredients needed are one iron ingot, three stick, three-string, and one tripwire hook. The crafting process creates one Crossbow for each set of components used. 

Step 1: Open a crafting menu. 

            With the ingredients mentioned above, open the crafting menu. You will see the 3×3 crafting grid. 

Step 2: Arrange the things on the crafting grid. 

           To make the Crossbow, arrange the iron ingot, string, sticks, and tripwire hook on the crafting grid. When complete, the Crossbow will appear to the right of the 3×3 grid. 

The pattern is: 

Row 1: Stick, Iron Nagot, Stick 

Row 2: String Tripwire Hook, Strong 

Row 3: Empty, Stick, Empty 

Step 3: Placement of completed Crossbow 

            After making the Crossbow, select the completed Crossbow and drag it to the player inventory. 

Using a Crossbow 

To use a crossbow, at least one arrow or fireworks rocket must be there in the stock. The users can choose the type of indicator to use based on location in their inventory. 

The crossbows take around 1.25 seconds to load and can load firework or arrow of any color.
