Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? Season 2...? I know it's quite a mouthful and most of us only limit ourselves to the first two words. But before jumping onto the details and all the news we could find about Problem Children are coming from another world aren't they? Season 2, here's everything you may need for a recap or a summary of the plot of season 1.
The plot is also quite a mouthful. Three characters or I should say, our protagonists who were all from different timelines with unparalleled and mysterious powers who are bored and tired of their generic and mundane life. All of them one day find a letter which gets them teleported to a land called "Little Garden". Little Garden is a place where different communities such as elves, humans, demons, halflings, and many more.
The communities build their reputation by winning games known as Gift Games where both sides put something as a wager. It can be land, buildings, money, and sometimes even living beings. Games can vary from duels to board games to gambling. Our protagonists are summoned by a community without a name or a banner, a community that had lost everything. Our protagonists, bored and looking for change agree on helping the community and soon decide to overthrow the demon lords that put the No-Names in that situation.
Izayoi Sakamaki: Our sole male protagonist who has the power to nullify and destroy other Gifts is from modern-day Japan who was bored of his life. Apart from his gift, his physical abilities are also on-point and he is quite smart, defeating a minor god within a few times of him entering the Little Garden. His main goal is to have "fun" and he is quite attached to the other protagonists and some side characters such as Shiroyasha.
Black Rabit (Kurousagi): A rabbit girl from Little Garden who summoned our protagonists. She tries to act serious but occasionally gets flustered especially when with Izayoi. Her speed and leg powers are equal to that of Izayoi and when fully using her powers, her blue hair turns pink and her already massive powers elevate further. She is also a victim of Shiroyasha and Izayoi's perverted behavior.
Asuka Kudou: A rich young girl who was bored with people agreeing to what she said and had the Gift of Authority finds herself in Little Garden along with Izayoi and one another. Her Gift can command objects, whether living or non-living, and can also control other Gifts, as long as they're weak compared to hers. She was summoned from an unknown year right after World War II. Her main goal is to understand others.
Kasukabe You: She is the quiet one amongst the three with a Gift that enables her to talk to animals and take the abilities of the animals she has befriended. She often roams around with a calico cat, who was the first animal she befriended which also enabled her to walk after being left crippled in a hospital. Her main goal is to make friends.
Honestly, the first season didn't disappoint. The animation was on-point and it was really good. Possibly one of the underrated animes. The plot was unique and the series has a mild portrayal of sexual scenes and revealing of female breasts but it is limited and in no sense an ecchi or hentai. Comedy is infused in the crevices of this anime with it carrying the ability to grip you and make you giggle now and then.
The series also displays a wide variety of minor and strong characters such as Jin Russell who is the young leader of the No-Names, and quite close to Izayoi. Shiroyasha also is one of the strong and often comedic characters with her being lustful of Kurousagi and at times one of the Floormasters, or the organizers of Gift Games, in the east side. The anime also gives references to urban legends such as vampires and myths and folklore with faeries, Piper of Hamlin, and Perseus from Greek Mythology making an entrance.
The anime is limited to 10 episodes so there isn't much scope for visible character development but all the characters play a vital role. Izayoi often displays his strength and acts as the strong offense while Asuka, controls and protects him against enemy attacks and You locating the enemies with her animal abilities, and Kurousagi acting as the adult figure, desperately trying to control and restrain them while also relying on them.
Overall, this anime is a watch but it is quite unsure if it matches the hype and excitement of the mainstream animes, such as Bleach, Naruto, and My Hero Academia.
Problem Children are coming from another world, aren't they? Season 2 is a skeptic statement. Almost 8 years have passed since the ending of the first season and season 2 remains a long catch. Diomedea Studios are pretty quiet and haven't mentioned much about the Problem Children are coming from another world, aren't they? season 2 and as time goes on it is presumed that the series will be limited to the manga only.
As of present, the Studios have more than enough material for a Problem Children are coming from another world aren't they? season 2 and possibly a season 3 and season 4 too, but it is being kept in the dark whether the anime is canceled or will be renewing soon or in upcoming years. I wish that the anime renews as soon as possible since the first season was worth it and Problem Children are coming from another world aren't they? season 2 will also hype up fans and newcomers to this anime and maybe make an industry statement.
