Based on a future-oriented society, this story revolves around the efforts of B.A.B.E.L (base of Backing ESP Laboratory) to fight the crimes increased as people with ESP increases.
A 20-year-old boy name Kōichi Minamoto was assigned to supervise three mischievous 10-year-old girls named Kaoru Akashi, Shiho Sannomiya, and Aoi Nogami and together they were called “The Children”.
But they were not normal girls, they were the most powerful espers in the whole country who were able to save it from these increasing crimes. They are very unique on their own and have special superpowers.
Kaoru possesses telekinesis which means she can move things with her mind, Shiho has psychometric powers which is the ability to read one’s thoughts or watch memories in objects simply by touching them and lastly, Aoi has teleportation powers and can move herself and others anytime & anywhere.
But the story would be boring if it did not have a villain. This story’s villain is the rival organizations that are trying to brainwash people against espers and does not understand their need for society.
What is interesting is that the MC of Zettai Karen Children is the villain himself. The audience loved to watch the show from his point of view and applauded the power of MC.
