Miranda Lambert was not in the mood to blend into the background at Monday’s CMT Music Awards.
The 38-year-old country singer stood out from the throng by posing with her police officer husband Brendan McLoughlin in a plunging suit and putting on a busty display.
On the pink carpet for the event in Nashville, Tennessee, the two struck a series of postures together.

The “If I Was a Cowboy” singer sported a gorgeous knee-length outfit backstage with hubby Brendan McLoughlin. Long sleeves with sculpted padded shoulders were featured on the blue dress, which was covered in glitter for all-over glitz. A plunging neckline and uneven thigh-high hem gave the garment a sensual edge. Lambert completed her ensemble with a pair of glistening earrings and a blue cocktail ring.

Lambert wore a bright pair of pointed-toe pumps that matched her outfit well. Her boots had shiny pink uppers and pointy triangular toes. Lambert’s pumps made a striking statement, matching and contrasting with the texture and color of her dress, and were sleekly finished with stiletto heels possibly reaching 3-4 inches in height.

The CMT Awards honor country performers’ best music videos and television performances. Kane Brown, Anthony Mackie, and Kelsea Ballerini will host the 2022 event, which will be aired live in Nashville. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and others are among the many stars who will play at this year’s event. Brown has four nominations, including video of the year, while Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, and Cody Johnson each have three. At 8 p.m. ET, the show will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.

Brendan, on the other hand, looked smart in a velour tuxedo jacket.
When the star appeared on Good Morning America in late 2018 and the former NYPD officer was part of the show’s security detail, the two met.
They went on to have a fast-paced courtship, and fans were startled when they announced in February 2019 that they had married after only three months of dating.
Miranda was previously married to Blake Shelton, but the couple ended their four-year marriage in 2015. Brendan and his ex-girlfriend Kaihla Rettinger have a three-year-old son.

Miranda had a deep neckline and asymmetric front cut in a blue sparkling little dress with long sleeves and padded shoulders. Two stunning rings, glistening earrings, and bright pink shoes completed the singer’s ensemble.

When she won her prize, she gave an emotional speech, telling the crowd, “I am so damn happy to be here.” I’m ecstatic to be a member of today’s ladies in country music.”

“Trey, I love you, this one is for you, and we are going to continue to be cowboys,” she added.
