EA has been releasing various exciting packs for The Sims 4 for a long time now. With each new addition, players get to see an exciting new feature. These expansions enhance the experience of the game and keep it fresh at the same time. On top of this, since The Sims is a simulation game, the developers put in cheats as well. The codes have been a part of the games for a long time. In the fourth part, there are tons of them both in the main game and the packs as well. We’ve made a list of them in the article for you. Build Mode Cheats: “The Sims 4”
These following cheats can help the players to alter world-building in the game:
- [ and ] – Use the left bracket to enlarge things and the right one to shrink them.
- 9 and 0 – The nine will raise, and the 0 key lowers things.
- “bb.moveobjects on/off” – This cheat merges objects, and players can use it to rearrange things.
- “bb.showhiddenobjects” – Hidden items are now visible, and players can easily find them.
- “bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement” – This cheat unlocks the build items in-game which players have to earn usually.
Note: You can enable these cheats once you enable testingcheats true in the console. The quotation marks are not a part of the codes.
Imminent death cheats: “The Sims 4.”
These cheats are pretty funny and fascinating to apply to your sims. Most of them cause changes in the death cycle. Here’s the list:
- “sims.add_buff buff_death_electrocution_warning” – This cheat will cause the death of a sim while fixing an electrical item.
- “sims.add_buff buff_death_elderexhaustion_warning” – Applying this will cause death after working out. This one turns out to be insanely hilarious.
- “sims.add_buff buff_mortified” – This will cause death by embarrassment within five hours.
- “sims.add_buff buff_motives_hunger_starving” – This cheat causes death by hunger within one day.
The cheats do not include the quotation marks, and players may enter them through the console.
Interaction cheats: “The Sims 4.”
For these sets of codes, you must first enable testingcheats true in the console. After that, type in cas.fulleditmode. While this may sound complex, it will allow all CAS abilities. Then, choose any of the items from the list below while holding SHIFT for a menu to pop up.
- Sim – Will allow modification of Sim, except the name and inherent traits.
- Ground – You will have the option to teleport your Sim to that vicinity.
- Sim – You will be able to reset a Sim.
- Sim – Add the Sim to the current family.
- Mailbox – There will be an option to reset the mailbox.
- Sim – An option to change all motives to full and the moods to happy. (Cheat Motive > Make Happy)
- Sim – Allows the motives to change dynamically. (Cheat Motive > Enable Motive Decay)
- Dirty Object – Option to make objects clean.
- Clean Object – Option to make the object dirty.
- Sim – Allows the player to let motives remain static. (Cheat Motive > Disable Motive Decay)
- Object – Resets the object.
