A little history behind Little Witch Academia season 2

Little Witch Academia season 2

Before you directly jump on Little Witch Academia season 2, it is better to catch up on the backstory and origin to get the best experience of the plot!

The famous Japanese anime franchise called Ritoru Witchi Akademia or Little Witch Academia was created by Yoh Yoshinari and was produced by Trigger.

The anime TV series was telecasted in Japan from January 2017 to June 2017 and later Netflix signed their contract and the first 12 episodes were released. After sometime in August 2017, the rest of the 13 episodes were also made available to the audience on Netflix.

Before the release of the series, two short films were created based on this story. The original short film was written by Masahiko Otsuka and directed by Yoshinari himself.

It was first released in theatres in March 2013 and later it was uploaded on YouTube with English subtitles.

The second short film Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade was released after a few months in October of the same year.

And… If this was not enough, two manga series were also published based on this series by Shueisha. There are so many adaptations, which one are you going to start from?

What is Little Witch Academia about?

Little Witch revolves around the theme of Magic and its power. It starts with a girl named Atsuko “Akko” who took inspiration from a famous witch named Shiny Chariot and enrolled in Luna Nova Magic Academy (Rūna Nova Mahō Gakkō) to become one herself.

Because she is a muggle… oops! I mean since she lacks a magical background, she faces many obstacles but never gives up on her dream. One day in the academy, she finds a Shiny Rod which formerly belonged to Chariot.

Turns out it’s not an ordinary rod, it is an artifact which only reacts when its wielder has pure intention and wants to spread joy in the world.

The story takes an unexpected turn when it was discovered that there exists a Grand Triskellion in a forbidden Arcturus Forest sealed by the Nine Old Witches in which lies the power to restore the flow of magic.

But like every other story, this one also has a villain in it who is Chariot’s former best friend Croix. She wants to be the one to open that Triskellion with her evil emotions.

Who would they open that Triskellion first?  Will Akko succeed in becoming a witch? All these questions will be answered in this series and new adventures will unlock in Little Witch Academia season 2.

Created by Kevin Williamson, THE FOLLOWING is an American crime thriller TV series. This series tells a story about an FBI Agent Ryan Hardy played by Kevin Bacon who’s trying to recapture a serial killer named Joe Carroll.

In the first season, we get to see Carroll’s cult kidnapping his son from his former wife and how his master plan to escape custody turns out.

In the next season, a new cult is introduced and Carroll suddenly dies but is he really dead? And finally in the last season follows the life of Ryan Hardy who happens to be in a much better place.

The first season was released on 23rd January 2013 and its 15 episodes on 29th April in the same year. The second and third seasons of the series were released consecutively in the next years but there was no news of The Following season 4?

Fans were not satisfied with the finale episode released on 18th May 2015 as it ended on a cliff-hanger! They wished they could see Hardy again in action and solving more cases but sorry to tell you, The Fox has decided to cancel the show.

Everyone was sure that they would be able to see their favorite characters on screen one more time but The Following season 4 didn’t cut. The channel decided to cancel the show, but WHY??

Looks like, the third season was not up to par for the board members. They thought that the series has lost its essence of creative writing. In the first two seasons, the two main lead characters would try to overpower each other with their cleverness and make the show more interesting but the third season lacked that.

If The Following season 4 was released, then it would have been nothing better than any average crime series and we already have loads of that.

Chicago Police Department (CPD) Superintendent David Brown said during a news conference that police officers were attempting to arrest an individual wanted on two warrants at around 9:40 am Friday. According to the CPD superintendent, while arresting the suspect with their weapons holstered, he turned and pointed his gun directly towards them as they attempted to detain him. This resulted in Chicago law enforcement opening fire and fatally shooting this man who has not been named by authorities but is believed to be 30 years old.

The offender, refusing to exit his vehicle when confronted by officers, pulled out a gun and pointed it at them. The three Chicago police officers and one US marshal all opened fire on the man until he finally went down with gunfire wounds.

The man was transported to the hospital in “grave condition,” Brown said. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, CPD confirmed with The Hill. According to those claims, the account holder had revealed that there are currently no plans or deals going around about Bloodborne 2 as he/she pointed out the game’s developer, FromSoftware is instead presently occupied in developing new intellectual properties (IP). So there we can assume that Bloodborne Season 2 probably won’t be happening any time soon.

Regardless, there are speculations that the original Bloodborne game is currently in the pipeline for an active overhaul.
