People Warned at Arizona: Highway closures in effect for Telegraph Fire burning near Superior, Superior Arizona Emergency evacuation

The Tonto National Forest Service issued a SET – Be Alert status for the Telegraph Fire in the town of Superior, and residents have not been asked to evacuate yet but have been urged to consider relocating voluntarily. The forest service has reportedly already deployed six hotshot crews, four air tankers, and one helicopter against this destructive fire which has burned 7 thousand acres so far according to KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Jim Cross.Highway closures in effect for Telegraph Fire burning near Superior,

The Tonto National Forest Services in Arizona issued a SET – Be Alert status for the Telegraph Fire that has burned 7,000 acres and is only six percent contained. Residents have not been asked to evacuate yet but are being encouraged by local officials to consider relocating voluntarily due to the fire’s rapid spread. The blaze was reported at approximately 2:00 PM on June 24th by KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Jim Cross with air tankers and helicopters dispatched from nearby Phoenix quickly following suit as they rushed head-on into this wildfire hot spot!

 

The fire is burning shrubs and grass in the area, with low fuel moistures. Officials have said that Red Flag warnings are expected to continue through the weekend because of this reason.

Queen Creek is a quaint little town, with an estimated population of 3100. But on Friday at 1:30 p.m., this all changed when the fire began to burn in Superior- about 30 miles east from here and first reported by us as well!

The Globe Ranger District is about to be lit up by a fiery inferno. The Telegraph Fire has been reported as 3 miles south of Superior and the InciWeb site says that it will soon threaten hundreds of more homes in the area, so action should be taken before things get worse.

A swarm of earthquakes, including one that measured at a magnitude 5.3, rattled the area near the Salton Sea in Imperial County Saturday according to USGS data. The strongest quake struck on 10:55 am and was about 7 miles from Calipatria 9 miles from Niland 24.9 Miles away from El Centro with a depth of 5 km nearly 6 kilometers deep which is relatively shallow for an earthquake measuring this large.

Where did it happen?

A series of earthquakes, including a magnitude 5.3 quake, shook the Imperial Valley in California yesterday afternoon. Tremors from this earthquake were felt as far north as San Diego and Oceanside-Escondido across to Mexico where they caused damage near Tecate City on the Mexican side of the border with the US mainland at Tijuana/San Ysidro crossing point between two countries according to the U.S Geological Survey (USGS).

The shaking felt in San Diego, Oceanside, Escondido, and across the U.S.-Mexico border was due to an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.3 that followed other smaller earthquakes within ten minutes that had magnitudes 4.6, 4.3, 4.1, and 4%.

The fatal collision of two vehicles has closed down southbound Highway 17 in the morning. CHP confirmed that a pickup truck crashed against a septic tank pumping truck and as result, one driver died from this incident.

CHP was called to the scene when a septic pumping truck lost control and crashed into two other vehicles. What they found on arrival, however, wasn’t what anyone expected; instead of sewage coming from the busted hose – it was an unknown substance that has been identified as toxic gas by Hazmat crews.

The driver of a Mercedes and the driver of an 18-wheeler were transferred to a local hospital with minor injuries on Monday morning. The accident took place on southbound Highway 17, prompting closures between Bear Creek Rd. and just north of Highway 9 that lasted about one hour before reopening at around 9:26 AM when traffic was able to start flowing in both directions again for commuters going into San Jose from Santa Cruz County or further upstate towards Redwood City.

Nigeria suspends Twitter days after president’s post removed, Permanently?

Nigeria has decided to suspend social media giant Twitter indefinitely for removing a post from the president that threatened punishment on those who want secession.

The Nigerian government suspended all Twitter operations in the country on Friday. Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed said that their decision stemmed from citizens using the platform for activities “capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.”

“Nigeria’s Information Minister Lai Mohammed said the government made this move because of ‘the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence,'” he claimed. “The decision came after a series of investigations into terrorist networks in contact with potential recruits via social media.”Nigeria suspends Twitter days after president's post removed, Permanently

He did not spell out the form of suspension, but he gave more details on the undermining activities. Twitter’s website and app continued to work in Nigeria on Friday during tests conducted by Reuters.

A spokesperson for Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the suspension. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s account, which was deactivated by Twitter due to violating their “abusive behavior” policy and posting threatening messages against groups blamed in recent attacks of government buildings, is still missing from its timeline Thursday morning.”

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do it is hitting theaters and HBO Max on Friday, but not every movie in theaters can be found streaming there (so don’t come looking for the Quiet Place sequel).

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It hits theaters Friday, and A Quiet Place Part II ruled the box office over the Memorial Day weekend. But for those who want to stay home, only The Conjuring 3 is available to stream on HBO Max. Cruella streams elsewhere; however, A Quiet Place Part II isn’t yet available at all.

HBO Max is going to make waves this year when it announces that films will be released at no extra charge on the same day they hit US cinemas. Additionally, Warner Bros.’ movies for 2019 are already scheduled and coming out both in theaters and through HBO Max simultaneously. Including In The Heights, Space Jam: A New Legacy (coming November 21), Dune (November 27), and Matrix 4 which has a release date of TBA!

Warner Bros. is at the forefront of a new trend in Hollywood with its release strategy for HBO Max, which combines exclusive theatrical releases and premium television content on-demand due to their strong partnership with WarnerMedia’s AT&T subsidiary that owns both companies. The company released nine movies exclusively on the streaming service this year alone including blockbusters like Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019) as well as classics such as Casablanca (1942).

The first visual confirmation that Michael Keaton will play Batman in the upcoming “The Flash” was delivered via a stylish and violent image posted to director Andy Muschietti’s Instagram. The new blood-red tone of voice for Justice League is a nod to Zack Snyder, the director who helmed both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and this year’s release.
