Most of us are a die-hard fan of anime series, arent we? The anime which are often based on Manga Series? If yes, then we have some good news for the fans! The most standout anime of all times are all set for it’s another installment.

Soul Eater is a famous anime series that is based on the popular Japanese manga series. Written and illustrated by Atsushi Okabe. The show is set on the “Death Weapon Meister Academy.” Directed by Takayu Igarashi and produced by Bones Studios. The anime is a lot different from its other mates. Like other all other anime, which are also based on the Manga series, Soul Ester stands out in every aspect.

The show had an original run from April 7, 2008, to March 30, 2009. With a total number of 51 episodes, the show manages to make a perfect space among the audience. Even after gaining immense love and recognition from people, the makers haven’t come up with any second season. This is a rare sight when it comes to “anime.” Anime makers go on and on with new seasons. This was, however, not a case with Soul Eater.

The show has Action fiction, Dark comedy, dark fantasy as its genres. They were discussing why it is different from its other counterparts. As anime these days involves a bright character, personalities, and vibrant background colors that never fade!
Ninjas nowadays in the series are not seen wearing the traditional black outfits because it might affect the whole happy, loving vibe. This is the reason why Soul Eater stands alone to stand apart.

Release dates

Soul Eater’s first season was only loyal to its source material half-way through the series. It means that after about 30-35 episodes, the anime was forced to take its path as the manga was still in the process.

If season 2 is announced, we can expect it to arrive anytime in 2021. However, there’s no official announcement about it yet.

Back then, makers decided to come up with an actual tale after they were done with the manga, and this stunned many enthusiasts because anime shows don’t usually do that. But even after a decade, we haven’t had a new season of ‘Soul Eater,’ and that’s primarily because the anime turned out to be going in a direction that was different to the manga. Let’s see if makers decide to go ahead with the same story or to introduce changes.

If the show comes up with its second season, then we can expect the characters to be the same.

Plot

‘Soul Eater’ depicts an academy situated in the Death City, bossed by a Shinigami, who is regarded as the personification of death. The academy’s primary goal is to boost “Death Scythes,” who can later help the Shinigami combatting the evils of the world. These “Death Scythes” are not real weapons but are entirely human/demon crossbreed who can alter their bodies into Demonic Weapons.

However, they can only do this after depleting the spirit of 1 evil witch and that of 99 other evil beings. ‘Soul Eater’ portrays the existence of the students who belong to the Death Weapon Meister Academy and pursues their quest into evolving “Death Scythes” from the “Demon Scythes” that they already are. It represents the lives of the students as they take on severe, dangerous missions to get clench of the souls of all the evils that stalk them to conserve their town and also to get a chance to be the Demonic Weapons of devastation that they’ve always dreamt of being.

Bayonetta 3 is the third installment of the Fan’s favorite franchise Bayonetta. The action bases game, which is developed solely for Nintendo, has a huge fan base worldwide. Directed by Hideki Kamiya and developed by Platinum Games, Scandinavian Mythology inspires the series.

The game was launched for the first time in October 2009. It was then released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation.  The game is a single-player 3-D action feature. The second part was launched in September 2014 and was merely available on Wii U and Nintendo switch. It was in 2015 when the director expressed his thoughts on having a third installment.

Since then, there has been no official announcement on the game’s third sequel. Fans are curious and anticipated at the same time and are now getting restless because it has almost been 5 years of the announcement, but nothing has come out yet. Two previous parts of the game have 16 chapters in total. The game enjoys a popular spot among the audience, especially teenagers, because of the theme, which many youngsters find attractive.

Release dates

It’s almost 5 years of the announcement and 3 years since the trailer has come, but release dates are still uncertain. Makers, for now, aren’t ready to speak on the same. Everything has kept under a wrap for now. Earlier, the news of its cancellation also surfaced in the media.

It was then the director of the series, Hideki Kamiya, said that part 3 “hasn’t been canceled by any means.” The news came as a huge respite to all the fans. But the speculation about the release date is still on. Many among us were expecting it in 2019, following the release trend as the 2nd part came after 5 years of the 1st one. Now, we are expecting it to hit the gaming market by the end of 2020. Also, because of the current pandemic situation, we can expect a delay.

The trailer came in 2017 and was a hit. It got a huge response from the audience and was successful in creating hype. The visuals were attractive. We saw a Bayonetta’s ribbon bifurcating and the moon turning blood red.

Plot

Bayonetta is a character (protagonist, you say) who is a witch. The game has a backdrop of a fictional town of Europe called Vigrid. The players control Bayonetta. As the player proceeds further, the game gets to level up chapter by chapter. The player is also awarded medals like gold, silver, or bronze based on their performance. The game also features two groups. One of the angels called ‘lumen sages’ and the other of witches ‘umbra witches.’ The unknown black force generally attacks Bayonetta, and the player needs to rescue her to level up in-game.

What’s new?

As far as the new plot and developments are concerned, there is no concrete evidence on it. But we can make some fair guesses based on the previous two seasons. Part 3 can be a fast-paced action game. New vehicle section, animal transformation is also expected. However, after seeing the trailer, we can expect the same Bayonetta again. We might witness a war between umbra witches and lumen sages that have been in both the previous games. A new antagonist is EXPECTED. It will be a fun-packed adventure to see how Bayonetta will handle all the bad forces coming to her.

World Trigger often abbreviated as Wor Tri is an Anime series based on the Japanese manga series of the same name. Written by Daisuke Ashihara the show was first aired in October 2014. The show became widely popular and enjoyed a two-year run and finally concluded in April 2016.  With genres of adventure fiction and science fiction, the show attracted a huge chunk of viewers, special kids and teens. And also had an IMDb rating of 7.5/10 which matters.

Directed by Morio Hatano and published by Toi Animation the show aires on the ANN network. However, the English dubbed of the series was launched on Primo TV on January 16, 2017. The show has 22 volumes which contain 73 episodes in total. After seeing the love and recognition which the show earned in its run of two years makers have decided to renew it for another season.

The series second season’s announcement was made by the officials during Jump Fest 20. A game titled ‘World Trigger: Borderless Mission” was also launched by the PlayStation Vista in September 2015 for the fans of the popular series.

Release dates

Season 2 is happening and will hit the screens for sure. However, when the series will hit the screens that are still uncertain. Makers haven’t released the dates yet. Also, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everything has came to halt. We don’t know when will the production work start again. It is assumed that we can expect the series by the end of this year or in early 2021.

The another the reason for the delay is the poor health conditions of the creator Daisuke Ashihara. We wish him a speedy recovery so that he resume his work again as fans are getting anxious day by day.

Storyline

Makers were inspired by Doraemon and wanted similar advanced technology characters in their anime series.

The series has a backdrop of a city named Mikado. The city of Mikado has a gate that opens into a parallel universe. One day, the gateway suddenly get opened and demons started coming from the parallel universe. The people of Mikado named them as Neighbors. Without adequate protection and security, it was tough for Mikado’s citizens to protect themselves. A group then appears to save them from the evil force. Border, an organization helped in reviving Neighbor’s technology.

The entire story revolves around a young boy named Yamu Kuga, who is a hero and also the protagonist. He is one of the neighbors. He has been to school and always tried his best to remain hidden from the borders. He along with his friend, Osamu Mikumo will stop the borders.

Expected plot

As the season one left all of us anticipating it is believed that season 2 will open with a bang! Fighting at borders, stopping aliens and why they are attacking Mikado is still a mystery. There is nothing much to reveal or wonder about as makers have kept everything under a wrap.

Will Yamu along with his friend succeed in his work? And when the citizens of Mikado will get rid of the aliens? Season 2 will surely answer it all.

The series is at the 10th position in the Top 100 TV anime series in Tokyo Enemy Award Festival.

Many mistaken the “World Trigger: Isekai Kara, no Tobosha” as season 2 which was released in 2015. It was actually a spin-off. Season 2 is still awaited.

Makers have more to reveal about the upcoming role play game, which features a combo of action and tech.
CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the next Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire live stream will occur on August 10, following Monday at 1 pm EDT (10 am PDT / 6 pm CEST / 5 pm BST).

CD Projekt Red explains that it will be revealing more information about the different paths characters can take, a look at some shiny new weapons, and more details about the game.

The announcement was made on Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account and read: “Join us on Monday, August 10 at 6 pm CEST, at Twitch for episode 2 of Night City Wire! This time we’ll share details about lifepaths, show you the types of weapons you will be using in the game, and discuss Refused’s transformation into Samurai.”

“Cyberpunk 2077” is a forthcoming role-playing video game. Developed and published by CD Projekt, the game is supposed to release this year. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5. The game works on the gaming engine of REDesign 4 and is playable in both single and multiplayer mode.

Adapted from the Cyberpunk franchise, the story takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the first person franchise perspective of a customizable mercenary called V, who can acquire hacking and machinery skills, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat. We will be witnessing various productions, including a comic book series, a card game, and an anime.

Release dates

Cyberpunk 2077 was confirmed in May 2012. In January 2013, a teaser trailer broadcast over the internet. For now, the game assigned for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One in November 2020. It will also release on Stadia by the end of this year and will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2021

Gameplay

Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person viewpoint as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Problems in the release of Aquaman 2 is unstoppable. The makers are facing a series of setbacks back to back. Initially, film production got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the shooting and production work is yet to resume. Now when the makers have a final release date in mind, they are facing another unavoidable situation. As the feud between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard gained pace and the tables have turned now, Aquaman fans demand a replacement for the role of Mera, which is played by the American actress and model Amber.

Aquaman, a superhero movie, is primarily based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film is produced by Warner Bros and is magnificently directed by James Wan. The movie was the most successful work of the DC Extended universe. The video was released in 2018 at different times across the globe.

It was released on 14 December 2018 in India. The American movie was made at a budget of 160-200 million USD. However, the film was worth watching, and it had a box office collection of 114.8 crores USD. The movie enjoyed an IMDb rating of 7/10 and 65% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Release dates: Aquaman 2

The makers were keeping the dates under a wrap but now have finally revealed it. The Aquaman 2 is set to hit the theaters on 16 December 2022. There is no other information available on Aquaman 2 yet.

There is no official word about the cast. We can highly expect the old cast to come and embrace their roles again, which includes Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry or Aquaman. Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Yahya Abdul-Mateen as Black Manta and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus.

The introduction of new characters cannot be ruled out. 

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s Controversy

The Pirates of Caribbean actor is currently fighting a bitter legal battle with his former wife, Amber Heard. The charges include physical violence, verbal abuse, etc. all put up by Amber on her then-husband Johnny. The courtroom controversy is doing rounds in media, and we can now see the tables turning. A clip where Amber was heard shouting and teasing Johnny as surfaced. She earlier admitted throwing pans, pots, and vases at the 57-year-old actor.

Now, people assume that Heard is using this legal battle to ruin Jonny’s image and frame him into false accusations. Fans are now outrageous about her replacement. They say that a person who has personified physical and verbal abuse cannot be entertained or applauded for their work in any industry. Hence, they condemn Amber’s presence in Aquaman 2. 

Petition against Amber Heard

A petition has been filed against Amber Heard. The request has got 50,000 plus signature on change.org and is named “Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2”.

A massive chunk of the audience is now seeking her replacement, which has made a matter of grave concern for the makers. They cannot afford a replacement and can neither go against so many people. Even if they choose to go ahead with Amber ignoring people’s petition, then this might result in Aquaman 2 failure. 

 Makers, however, have not said anything in this matter so far. Amber’s fans are also trying hard to save her role in Aquaman. Let’s see who wins!

The famous YouTube Series, a record-breaker of its time, is all set to debut on the world’s largest streaming platform Netflix. Cobra Kai which was released on YouTube in 2018. The streaming platform is bringing the first two seasons of popular former YouTube series on its platform.

Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg through their production house counterbalance entertainment. The series debuted on YouTube on May 18 and became the most successful show ever release on the platform and went on breaking all the records. The first season was also regarded as the Best drama of 2018 by Rotten tomatoes, earning a rear 100% fresh ratings for its seasons first. The show also enjoyed an IMDb rating of 8.8 out of 10. The series also gained worldwide recognition and awards, including Emmy nominations.

Streaming of season 1 and season 2 is considered a strategy ahead of the season 3 release on Netflix. The first twenty-eight episodes of karate kid continuation are set to hit the streaming platform from 28 August. According to sources, YouTube has decided not to continue with season 3, and Netflix has gained the official rights for the same. YouTube finally decided to ditch original scripted fare on its platform favoring unscripted programming, which prompted the shift to the streaming platform.

It was officially announced on the “See what’s next” official Twitter handle of Netflix that season 1 and 2 are coming to Netflix on 28 August.

Brief: Season 1 and 2

Before season 3 hits the digital platform, we give you a basic plot of the two seasons.

Cobra Kai is set on the original karate kid film, which was released decades back. The series stars William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, a former bully. As Johnny is now in his middle age and has nothing much to show, he decides to reopen Cobra Kai to get his life back on track. He admits some misfit youths in his batch to train them. Ralph Maccio makes a comeback as Johnny’s arch-rival Daniel La Russo who is now a rich and prosperous businessman and apparently deals in cars. The returning of Ralph will give rise to the old feud between him and Johnny.

Release date: Season 3

According to sources, the shooting process of season 3  was completed in November 2019. It is assumed that the series is currently in its production work and will hit the digital screen by the end of 2020 or in the early months of 2021. The audience can enjoy watching it on Netflix.

Ozark, an American thriller crime drama series created by Bill Dubuque and Mark William. The series was first premiered in the year 2017. The series was proved to be a hit for Netflix, which eventually paved the way for another season. The last season, season 3, hit the streaming platform this year in March. Netflix has decided to renew Ozark for the fourth season, which can also be the final season of the crime-based drama, and also made an official announcement regarding the same. Showrunner Chris Mundy is also the writer and executive producer. The Drama series stars Jason Bateman, who is also the lead executive producer and director. Jason has portrayed Marty Byrde, a financial planner who relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in Ozark.

Ozark is a gripping drama that has captivated the audience worldwide with its last 3 seasons. Series also gained fame and recognition from a huge chunk of viewers. From award nominations to critical acclamation the Series has a successful run for three seasons. The achievements include 14 Emmy nominations with two wins, 2 Golden Globe nominations, 6 screen actors guild nominations, etc.

There is no official announcement on release dates yet. As the last season concluded this year in March, we can expect the season finale in the early months of 2021. COVID-19 situations can further lead to a delay.

Storyline

The story revolves around the Byrde couple and the story of their bad choices. Marty Byrde is on the run with his family after getting accused of money laundering. He relocates his family to a place named as Ozark. His sole motive is to save his wife and two kids, for which he pays a debt to the Mexican drug lord.

The story also depicts the loopholes between the Byrde’s family and marital life problems between Marty and Wendy.

What’s in the season finale?

The story is highly anticipated. The fans are getting anxious to know what will happen next?  The new season will mark the final chapters in the Byrde family’s journey from the suburban town of Chicago to Ozark.

The story will likely pick up from the last season. The fans will get all the answers to their unanswered questions from the last 3 seasons. The relationship between Marty and Wendy faced many ups and downs during the last 3 seasons of the Netflix series.

It will be no less than a surprise that the couple has made it into the season finale with their marriage intact. Will, the Byrde family, will be happy together again?

In the final season, season 4, will be of 14 episodes, which are longer than its predecessor. Season 4 will split into two halves, each consisting of 7 episodes. Netflix declared the news about the season finale on its official handle on 30 June 2020.

According to sources, Mundy said in a statement, “We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on-screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible”.

Recently, Anthony Rapp who is also the cast of the show said in his Instagram live video that the editing and visual effects of his next are in process. However, it will take more time than usual due to lockdown. The editing process requires time and its not a one day job hence we can expect it to hit the screens by the end of 2020 or in the early months of 2021.

To introduce it internationally CBS fixed a deal with Netflix regarding the same. This means, that people of 188 other countries can also watch it online on the streaming platform.

However, this time, he struggles to make his love story a success, unlike the last time. In this season, his lady love seems to share his mindset of killing a person if the situation demands. She ends up killing Candace after the latter lures her to Joe’s basement, where Delilah’s body is kept. Delilah’s actual killer is also revealed, which is none other than Love.

With season 2’s shocking ending, all the fans are left startled. Jack Ryan,  an American political thriller web series, full of action sequences. It is based on the characters of the fictional novel series “Ryanverse” by Tom Clancy. This series consists of 2 seasons which premiered on August 31, 2018, and October 31st, 2019 respectively on Amazon Prime videos. It basically is about a CIA analyst, Jack Ryan who exposes corruption, espionage, and fights against the Islamic extremists. While the first two seasons created quite an uproar, we are anxiously waiting for the 3rd installment.

Storyline: ” Jack Ryan”

The commendable acting along with an amazing and intriguing storyline created magic upon the audience. The story revolves around an honorary CIA analyst, who is transferred from his secured desk job to a very risky field job. There, he unearths various ambiguous bank transfers by Suleiman, one of the deadliest Islamic extremists. In Season -1’s finale, Jack executes Suleiman and prevents the terrorist attack. Thus gets promoted as chief of T-FAD, while Greer is promoted as Deputy station chief of Moscow.

The Second installment starts with Jack in the middle of a political feud in a corrupt Venezuela. This political feud leads Venezuela into an economic crisis, which eventually causes mass migration. Amidst this crisis, it’s now Jack’s responsibility to settle down everything and restore the peace. In the second season finale, Jack rescues Greer from the presidential palace and eventually ceases the polling procedure. This creates an uproar and an aggressive mob surrounds the palace, compelling Jack to take a choice that would decide his fate.

Well, the series version and the book version differ slightly. In the series, Jack works under the CIA for only four years, which is very less in comparison to the book. While Kathy Muller is his wife in the book, they are just dating in the series. So, we expect the makers, to bring Greer, Jack, Muller all in one frame and deliver some more action-packed and intriguing twists. Till now, no official update on the plot has been revealed. Makers have confirmed some deep, interesting storyline for the third installment. Hence, now, all we can do is to wait for the trailer release to have a glimpse of the third installment.

In February 2019, Amazon announced the renewal for the third installment. The series was supposed to release by August 2020. The filmography of the series had not started, prior to lockdown. The official notification regarding the same is yet to come.

Web novel attracted the people so much that they demanded its anime series, and the happy news is that they succeeded in it; and season 1 started its production in 2018 and ended recently on 19 March 2020. Soon after these,  fans are waiting for its next season.

No doubt,  “Solo Levelling ” gained a name and fame worldwide and is loved and praised by millions of people around the globe. After the great popularity of its web novel series,  its anime version shook the platform, and it ended recently in March this year. The story revolves around the protagonist, “Sung Jin-Woo.” He is supposed to be the weakest of all hunters being at the rank of “E.” They live in a world full of “Demons” and “Hunters,” and hunters are supposed to kill demons. But his group thinks that “Sung Jin-Woo” does not have any super abilities and is nearly a normal human being. The later story follows up, as the all the hunters get stuck into the deadly game and fights to save their lives, including “Sung Jin-Woo.” as the game proceeds, many of the hunters lost their lives, but somehow, “Sung Jin-Woo” managed to cross all the levels and came out alive, finally crowning him as a great Hunter. This story is full of many twists, turns, and mysteries, which opens up as they play a game and hunts the demons. And the upcoming season holds a lot of more surprises for us. So wait for a while to watch next season.
