In her testimony,

Heard alleged… “I was in one of these fights, I believe it’s this one, in his downtown ECB, we call it, loft, and we’re in the kitchen living room area and he backhands me,” Johnny said of the incident.

“And, you know, it was, you know, he wears a lot of rings,” she said. I recall feeling like my lip had gone into my teeth, and there was some blood on the wall. It’s as simple as that, a little blood on the wall.”

TMZ has examined the metadata and can confirm that the photo was taken in 2012, but Amber’s witness statement in the UK defamation lawsuit stated that the first violent incident occurred in 2013, a year after the purported bloody lip shot was taken.

Amber messed up her dates in the UK case, according to a source close to her, and when she retrieved her therapist records, it revealed that the alleged abuse from Johnny began in early 2012... As a result, the photo’s timing makes sense.

Of course, the photo and alleged event are only one of several allegations of physical aggression brought against Heard and Depp throughout the trial.

Remember, Johnny’s team said that Amber’s claims had developed over time with “new and convenient elements” — and that she had been “preparing to produce the performance of her life in this trial.”

The case has been put on hold until May 16, when Amber is due to return to the witness stand.
