There were rumors of a female ghost in Kamome Academy’s girl’s bathroom, she was called “Hanako-san of the Toilet”. It was said, that she grant wishes and in exchange, she made them her assistance.  The academy was famous for its Seven Wonders and supernatural activity. So, our female protagonist, Nene Yashiro, a high school student, always wished for true love and spend daydreaming about having a boyfriend. Since, her first embarrassing confession, where she was rejected, she lost her confidence and went to a friend for advice.

The friend told her about the bathroom and Yashiro ends up going there. There she met the ghost, but it was a boy. After that, she asked him to help her find a boyfriend. Hanako was there to maintain the balance between the spirit world and the human world and as the story unfolds, more things get revealed…

Honestly, this is one of those series that would make you chuckle and occasionally bursting out laughing before regretting and contemplating everything. The sexual references do not go out of the way with almost no nudity shown and the ones shown are censored. It’s worthy of a one-time watch and if you’re into the genre maybe twice or thrice too.

Some clips in the series may and would trigger you but that’s just the part of the fun. Several characters are shown to be perv but are well-written. In parts the jokes become excessive and it gets overwhelming but in the end, it all comes down to whether you like this genre or not. It has received equal amounts of love and hatred for various things from the public but the show goes on.

It also portrays a few characters visibly biromantic or bisexual and occasionally even homoromantic. Slight references to the love between MLM and WLW but it is not quite sure whether it diversifies them or stigmatizes them since the reception varies from fan to fan and viewer to viewer

The game was planned to decide who will be the next god of time and space after Dues and that could prevent the apocalypse.


There was another classmate of Yukiteru who was protecting him whose name was Yuno Gasai who was a kinda psychopath who used to stalk Yukiteru because of an event that took place a year ago.
There were some other major players in the survival game. Mineme Uryu was a terrorist who wanted to destroy all the regions after the death of her parents in a faith-fueled war.

Another was Keigo Kurusu who was a police officer who wanted to end the game. Later in the game, Kurusu betrays Yukiteru and Yuno after getting to know that his bedridden son was suffering from a fatal disease, and on the detection, he withdraws himself from the game out of shame.

The story goes on with many ups and downs but eventually leads Yukiteru and Yuno to be the gods of the second world and get started to fulfill their promise to go to stargazing with each other which they made a year ago.
The story is quite interesting and pulls us into its dark life by the very talented characters. The way story has been presented with innovative violence and a bold and loud form, has made its place in the audience’s hearts and therefore fans are demanding and waiting for Mirai Nikki season 2.


Sometimes it happens that when we enter into something dark and supernatural there are chances that one stops making sense to the other. Some same stuff has happened with the Mirai Nikki as well which I think has been stretched which was not much needed. Though it does not affect the quality of the same a keen observer might find it a bit irrelevant in Mirai Nikki Season 2.

My personal opinion of the show is that show possesses great characters and a storyline but the only thing I could marginalize is the ending parts of the series which seemed to be exaggerated to stretch the content. One should be strong-hearted to bear all these bloodshed scenes which are highly given importance in the Mirai Nikki Season 2.

‘To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts Season 1’ is a post-war character drama, the plot focus on the emphasis on character development and its fair share of humanity. In this series, A nation called Patria is separated into two: North and South, during this time civil war broke out, now it’s North VS South. But the civil war was one-sided as the North has the most powerful weapon: The Incarnates, they were soldiers who can turn into a giant monsters and they easily destroyed the enemy of the south.

After the war, the incarnates were left alone to live their life. The show’s main character, an incarnate named Hank start searching for others and as he goes along with his journey he meets Nancy Schaal  Bancroft, she wanted revenge for her father’s death as Hank killed her father for some reason. As the show progress, the revenge-filled Nancy starts understanding the reasons of Hank. Mei Tachibana: Soft, introverted, quiet, and unaware of most emotions a teenager would’ve felt by the time she was 16, she remains the character that you can easily fall in love with. Aiko and Arai soon form a perfect trio with Mei as they stick together through thick and thin, helping each other.
